About Sequels and Sequins Sequels and Sequins has been established as most competitive costumes are only worn 5 or 6 times. They are usually in fabulous condition and then hang in a closet for years. It is our goal to assist families of performing arts students make competitive costumes more affordable. New costumes for solos, duets and trios can be incredibly expensive and in these financial times, when people are cutting out the frills, Sequels and Sequins will provide your children the opportunity to look fabulous on stage at affordable prices. Sequels and Sequins will take in your costumes on consignment to see if they are suitable for other dancers in the Durham Region, Ontario, even Canada! All costumes will be photographed and placed on our website. We have advertisements in Dance Canada Quarterly Magazine, various studios across the province and Competitive Programs. Your costumes are sure to be seen! About the Owner Julie is a dance mom with two dancers in competitive programs. She was also a competitive dancer for many years and loves all elements of dance. She knows how expensive it is to have children at the competitive level. She will work her hardest to make sure your child looks their very best on stage.
